Moriah Haggett
RCED Program Manager & Certified Grief Coach

First and foremost, Moriah is a wife, mother and grandmother and is also in recovery from Alcohol Use Disorder. Moriah, an experienced massage therapist, decided she wanted to make a change and help people in a different way that felt more meaningful for her. Currently, Moriah works in the Emergency Department at CVMC where she meets with patients struggling with substance use disorder and enjoys being able to treat them with dignity and compassion while helping them find their pathway into recovery.

She is also a certified grief coach and started a weekly group called Moving Forward after experiencing the loss of her nineteen year old son Tyler in 2023 on Mother's Day due to an accidental overdose. She is excited to offer the Moving Forward group to the recovery community; she believes it will be an important addition to the collection of meetings and groups that Turning Point currently offers. Moriah also works in the center offering individual coaching sessions for participants looking to sustain their recovery over a longer period of time. Moriah also enjoys gardening, baking and spending time outdoors in her spare time.
