
Mark Legrand
Mark LeGrand is in long term recovery from Alcohol Use Disorder and has been an advocate for recovery since 2002. As a performing songwriter Mark uses this medium to reduce stigma and put a human face on those with substance use disorder. Mark has been the guest musician at annual Writers for Recovery book events and was featured on Vermont Public’s podcast "My Heart Still Beats" produced by Bess O’Brien.
Mark completed his Recovery Coach training and is looking forward to helping more people address the many paths to recovery that are available today. Mark has lived in Montpelier since 1976 and is excited to see stigma being reduced and the advancing science-based research and discovery that is going on today.
