
Hilary Denton
Hilary is a person in long term recovery from polysubstance use and believes there are as many paths to recovery as there are people. She enjoys helping others navigate their personal journey to recovery in order to find freedom, joy and meaning in their lives. She is the Recovery Program Manager at Turning Point in Barre and currently serves on the Recovery Coach Certification committee with Recovery Vermont.
Hilary holds a bachelor’s degree in human services with a minor in psychology. She has studied alternative healing practices for over 20 years and is certified to teach and practice Reiki and previously served on the Board of Directors with the Vermont Reiki Association. She is well versed in mindfulness practice and is certified with the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association. She facilitates a weekly Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction group at the center which incorporates ear acupuncture.
